Uttarakhand’s pride and ace strongman Aman Vohra has become the first Indian to be selected for the World Strongman Games.

World Strongman championship is considered to be the toughest and most prestigious sports competition around the globe.

The championship is going to be held on in the first week of November 2019. Over 230 athletes from 21 countries will showcase their strength and try to win this competition.

Dehradun based Aman Vohra is the only Indian among them. Aman has represented India in many international strongman platforms till date.

Aman won a bronze medal in Arnold Classic Amateur Strongman Asia in Hong Kong and was also at 12th position in the World Strongman Championship 2016, held in Finland.

Other than this, Aman has won the Gold Medal in the Uttarakhand State Powerlifting Championship three times. He also won Gold in Subrata Classic International Deadlift.
