Dehradun, 13th January: Himalayan Buzz organized the grand finale of ‘Mr & Miss Uttarakhand 2020’ at Hotel Solitaire today. The program was organized in association with SportsFit by MS Dhoni.
Subodh Uniyal won the title of Mr Uttarakhand 2020, whereas Monal Raj Bisht has crowed with the title of Miss Uttarakhand 2020. Kashish Chopra and Avin Tyagi were the 1st runners up whereas Tripti Dabral and Rohan Raja were awarded the 2nd runners up position.
Several subtitle winners were also announced on the occasion. Naresh Bisht was presented with the title of Face of Uttarakhand. Srishti Bisht was awarded the title of Miss Bollywood whereas Kamakshi Kapil was presented with the title of Miss Fashion Icon. Tripti Dabral was titled Miss Popular, Cherry Saxena was adjudged Miss Ramp Walk, Kashish Chopra was presented with the title of Miss Media Choice while Aanchal was awarded the title of Miss Photogenic.
Avin Tyagi was awarded the title of Mr Bollywood while Saksham Negi was presented with the title of Mr Popular. Tanishqe Rai was titled Mr Ramp Walk, Asad Hasan Khan was awarded Mr Intellectual, Subodh Uniyal was adjudged Mr Photogenic while Neel Rawat was presented the award of Mr Dashing.
The judges for the program were Founder India Cult Lifestyle Fashion Week Vibhor Gupta, Celebrity Makeup Artist Vyanktesh Agrawal, and Entrepreneur Akash Gupta, Mr. Earth Abhishek Kapoor and HOD Fashion Design Dev Bhoomi Institute of Fashion Design Deepa Arya. The Guest of Honour on the occasion was Sonia Anand.
Contestants from all over Uttarakhand, as well as other cities such as Delhi and Mumbai, actively participated in the pageant. All the participating contestants went through 7-days-long extensive training under professionals from the fashion Industry.
After competing in several sub contests, the participants competed against each other in the grand finale for the titles of Mr. Uttarakhand and Miss Uttarakhand.
Present on the occasion, the Director Himalayan Buzz Gaurav Singh said, “Mr & Miss Uttarakhand is not just a random pageant, it is an effort to connect our fellow Uttarakhand is to their roots. The winners emerged today will be working towards several causes to promote and preserve the rich culture and heritage of our state Uttarakhand.”
