Dehradun: While most Bollywood stars may always select exotic locations for their new year celebrations, Big B has chosen Uttarakhand to spend the new year's eve with wife Jaya Bachchan. He was accompanied by business tycoon Anil Ambani. They flew down to Dehradun in a private jet and landed at the Jolly Grant airport on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Even amidst tight security the Shehensha did not disappoint his fans and gave them a wave. Paparazzi and press reporters tried to ask the legendary couple about their plans, but Bachchans left soon for their hotel.
They have selected the Ananda Hotel, Narendra Nagar for their stay. It is most likely that there will be a private party. As many other stars have been coming to Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Recently Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen at the Jolly Grant airport. Some Instagram posts from Virat Kohli, seem to be from the suite of Anand Hotel, Narendra Nagar, Dehradun.
Rumors have been filling the air about any private event related to Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, to be held at the Ananda Hotel, Narendra Nagar.
However, none of the actor or actresses have made any media announcements about it.
Other celebrities who have chosen Uttarakhand for their New Year celebrations include Vivek Oberoi and Arshad Warsi. While Arshad has selected Mussoorie, Vivek has come to the beautiful Rishikesh.
Everyone from foreign tourists to Bollywood celebrities has been spellbound by Uttarakhand's beauty. Though it is difficult to digest the fact that so many of them have selected an Indian destination ditching their foreign favorites.
