Born in Garhwali Rajput family of Dehradun, Asha Negi marched up to become Most popular daughter of small screen. Asha did her schooling from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School in Dehradun and completed her graduation from DAV College Dehradun. After Completing Bachelors Asha Negi worked at a call center in Dehradun, then she shifted to Bangalore where she worked in a tour and travels consultancy. From childhood the glamor World attracted her; she won the prestigious Beauty Pageant Miss Uttarakhand title in 2009 and eventually moved to Mumbai to pursue her dream of acting.

Her role in Pavitra Rishta was so popular that she is now being known by her Tv name ‘Purvi’ all over the india. She had a great friendship with Ritvik Dhanjani, the co-actor of “Pavitra Rishta” which eventually turned into love over the course of time.
