Chhoti Bahu of Indian Television Industry Rubina Dilaik was born in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh in a rich Pahari Hindu Family. Her family owns an Apple orchard. Her father is a writer and has written many books and poems. She did her schooling from Shimla Public School and completed her graduation from St.Bedes College Shimla. While in School she won the National Debate Championship. She has won many local beauty pageants and was crowned Miss Shimla in 2006. In 2008, she had won the Miss North India Pageant held at Chandigarh. Rubina’s parent wanted her to be an Engineer as a result, she gave engineering entrance test but her faith had another story for her.

Rubina started her career with the Zee Tv show “Chhoti Bahu – Sindur Bin Suhagan”. The role of Radhika played in Chhoti Bahu was a big success and eventually people across the country started recognizing her by her Reel Name Choti Bahu. The Onscreen bonding of Rubina and Avinash Sachdeva became so popular that the directors had to recast them in the sequel of Choti Bahu, “Choti Bahu- Sanware Ke Rang Ranchi”. Apart from this, she also worked in various other shows like, “Saas Bin Sasural”, “Nachle Ve With Saroj Khan”, “Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed”, “Devon Ke Dev Mahadev” and “Jeanie Aur Juju”. She had also won many professional awards like Zee Rishtey Awards and the Prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards. Rubina will be working opposite to Vivian D’sena in a brand new daily soap ‘Shakti – Asttitva Ek Ahasaas’ to be aired on Colors TV.
