Jai Mata Di production is making a Himachali movie in a typical Bollywood style named 'Nahth Bhajj' which will be released on November 11.

Prashant Thakur is the producer of this movie. This movie is been directed by the very famous director, Rajendra Kaushal. Kaushal has been a veteran of 20 years and has directed many popular movies. The movie is been budgeted around 70 Lakhs.

Himachal’s movie industry is dogged by a problem faced by almost all regional cinemas. Movie theatres are not willing to screen Himachali movies and prefer Bollywood movies.

To counter this, the makers of the Movie Nahth Bhajj have hit upon a novel idea. Jai Mata Di Production has started 10 mobiles theatres, which are capable of screening movie to an audience of almost 300 people.

In the first round, makers will conduct shows around in 20 cities from 11th November to 20th November. And in the next round, the movie will be shown in another 30 cities to boost awareness of Himachali language and culture through cinema.

The shows will be conducted in cities like Bilaspur, Mandi, Kullu, Hamirpur, Sujanpur, Nadaun, Ghumarwin, Sarkaghat, Bhuntar, Joginder Nagar, Baijnath, Palampur, Kangra, Dharmshala, Shahpur, Nurpur, Jhawali, Dehra, Banikhet, Chamba, etc.

Mohit Singh Parmar and Meenakshi Chopra are the lead Actor and Actress. 

The movie’s story revolves two rich families. Scions of both families fall in love with each other. One belongs to a reputable family with many tea gardens and coffee who have lived their life full of rituals and traditions.

The other family is headed by a retired Brigadier who believes in discipline and wants his entire village to be disciplined and rule abiding.

Landowner’s son falls in love with the Brigadier's daughter setting up an interesting clash between the two families. They both want to get married to each other but are frightened to tell their respective families.

To make matter complicated both families start searching for life partners for the lead couple. Brigadier wants his daughter to be in a family of an army officer or to be in a Sikh family.

Meanwhile, the boy in a bid to impress his future father-in-law impersonates as a Sikh and succeeds in impressing him to agree to the marriage.
