Prachi Adhikari an actress from Haldwani, Uttarakhand doesn’t not know either southern languages Malyalam or Telugu. Fueled by her passion for her acting she has overcome this hurdle of language barrier and shines on the silver screen. She has been an acting enthusiast since she was in school.
She has done a diploma in nursing form New Zealand and is a BBA graduate from Haldwani. She had a special inclination towards business studies and wanted to go in the marketing sector. She also spent a long time working in a call centre. She also worked in a company that manufactured products meant for pet dogs.
However destiny had a different plan.
During her struggle days in Delhi she met director Vinod Jyutsi. Vinod Jyutsi found a lot of similarities in Juhi Chawla and Prachi Adhikari. He recommended her to get a portfolio and a proper professional photo shoot. Then she bagged a role in the show ‘Ankho Dekhi’ for Doordarshan network. Then she also signed many modelling contracts one being for a Hyderabad jewellery manufacturers. And then there was no stopping the pahadi beauty.
The voluptuous diva only signs and wants to do sweet roles. She admits that she is not the girl next-door shy types who would get to do the typical girly roles. Hence she wants to take up the challenge and do things that are out of her comfort zone.
She is currently in talks with Bhojpuri cinema directors and might take up some Bhojpuri films. With this she will make her debut in the Bhojpuri cinema.
She started of her career playing the protagonist who was a simple and sober girl. However on directors and filmmakers demand she had to do some glamorized roles too. Her first film was ‘Doshi’ and the audiences loved it. She has always been critically acclaimed for her bold cameos and roles.
Arokonan is another very popular film starring her. Till date she has done around fourteen Telugu and Tamil movies.
Apart from being a successful film star Prachi is also a very enthusiastic social activist. She has been promoting the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao‘ movement. She considered Jayalalitha as her idol. She is also the brand ambassador of Hindu Mahasabha. She firmly believes that dedication and hard work take one to heights. She is also a big fan of our Prime Minister Modi Ji.
She is determined to become an international star. She is also considering doing Bollywood films. Some of the Bollywood filmmakers want to cast her in their films. She is waiting for the perfect role to make a powerful debut move.
