Uttarakhand Fashion Festival is an annual fashion and shopping extravaganza which will take place every year. It was organized with the aim to provide a platform to budding designers to showcase the creativity. It was a one day event, organized by Himalayan Buzz team at Ashok Spa & Resorts, Dehradun. Designers, Aruna Chaudhary, Gulfam Roshan, Neelam Vishwakarma, Sakshi Bhardwaj, Pooja Negi, Jyoti Chopra, Rupa KC, Nivedita Bose, Nasir, showcased their collections at the event.
About 40 ravishing models adorned in the masterpiece designer pieces, walked the ramp. The grace of the show put up by the models was matching the elegance of the designers’ ensemble. Both male and female models carried off their attires stunningly raising the bar for other fashion shows.
The Uttarakhand Fashion Festival has been conceived with the aim to provide a platform to young fashion designers & retailers from all over the nation, predominantly Uttarakhand. It will enable the upcoming designers to showcase & sell their creations in front of fashionistas and doyens of the fashion industry.
Our main focus is to promote traditional attire, fabrics, handlooms & handicrafts of Uttarakhand globally. Setting traditional costumes as trends, that have long been underrated and not marketed is the vision of Uttarakhand Fashion Festival.
