Anukriti Gusain from Uttarakhand defeated all her competitors from Delhi, UP, Punjab and Mizoram to bag the title.

The title of Miss refreshing beauty is for the competitor who willingly participates in all competitions and carries off her costume beautifully. Anukriti wore a whale dress and has reached in the top 5 best costume finalists too. The dress based on ‘Clean Ganga, Save Ganga’ was designed by Anukriti herself. She has tried to convey the message to the countrymen that the Ganga is so pristine when it comes from its source and eventually becomes dirty after flowing through the nation. It is a big message that has led to many movements and also government policies. The Ganga is not only a holy river for the ritualistic bath but also an economically important resource of India. The message by Anukriti is apt for time with raising awareness about the environment and related issues.
